Guest Rick Research
Ausgabe April 1940."Von Hessenthal and Schreiber" as they are usually combined, were the originators of the scientific collection of German decorations and medals. They introduced weights and measures, differentiated between various types--official and unofficial--and mentioned FAKES existing in their time. Their magnum opus went through many editions, and remains as solidly useful and accurate today as when any edition was published.
