    Hi All,

    can some assist with identifing the rank & unit of these soldiers ?

    Is there any way of identifing him ??

    The guy in front is an Oberfeldwebel/Oberwachtmeister wearing the sleeve stripes of a "Spiess" indicating that he was Top Sergeant in his unit.

    Since he's not wearing unit numbers-- not a prayer of a unit ID.
