Paul1 Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 How can I find information about my Gt Gt Grandfather, Captain August Eric von Hohnfeldt?As far as we know he was from Prussia and a Captain in the army, and was killed as he left his wife Ottilie Wilhelmina and son Bruno. They appear in England from the 1871 census. As Bruno was 16 at that time they would have been in Prussia in 1855. He may have been killed during wars with Denmark or Austria. Were there any officer records for that time? All help appreciatedPaul
