Guest Rick Research Posted March 21, 2008 Posted March 21, 2008 This came by to visit today. It is reverse engraved on a slightly curved piece of copper, so it was apperently used to PRINT something correctly when rolled off.I can find no mention whatsoever of a Baron Varicourt-- of Huguenot stock, presumably. The style suggests first half of the 19th century to me.Through the mIracle Of Epson Scannography, reverssed to be "as printed," and in black and white for better contrast. The family motto is "En Eyance et Feaulte."We fling ourselves upon the mercy/skills of the Googlemeisters.
