In 1880 Brass manufacturer and wife in Derby, CT (my folks woulda known 'em ).She was daughter of Charles M. Mitchell (born ca 1824) and Mary E. Foote (born ca 1838): manufacturer of brass goods in Waterbury, 1880. Household with son Charles F. Mitchell, bank clerk, 23, and Black servant Lewis Freeman, 27.Needs more rooting about. This hangs up on the Great Divide of 1850.
