Scott Powell
As always the Reverse is important. this bar has the woven reverse i have found on other Wurttemberg bars. I think this type of backing was common in Southern Germany
Guest Rick Research
Yup. Just tuck those slipping rings under the ribbons where they belong and nice as can be.The second ribbon is for the much more common W?rttemberg Military Merit/Bravery Medal, but from that mounting, there has NOT been a swap--these are lined up perfectly just as made. The outfitter probably couldn't find the correct ribbon and that was close enough that nobody noticed or cared. It's a beauty alright.
