paul w Posted November 2, 2008 Author Share Posted November 2, 2008 Thanks for the info Vaughn,the only mark on the blade is that which you can see in pic 5,it seems to be stamped letters inside a six pointed star but its too faded to make out what it is.The sword knot is faded red and gold.Would you know how much this sword is worth? It contains a star and the word "Proved" (occasionally "proof").It shows the sword has passed the neccessary Government tests for military use.Not sure on value, possibly ?200-?400; try googling to see what dealers are asking.
