Border Rifle Vols

Hiya,

Please offer suggestions as to the value of this (Border rifle Vols) cap badge. It is, I belive genuine. It is thin and is missing it;s back fittings.

A Scottish unt, they wore the same design but with the Victorian Crown above the circular part of the design as a glengary badge, this may be part of a helmet plate, the centre.

I don't know exactly what it is, or how much it's worth, presumably not a lot because of its condition, but I like it, it's a bit different.
