Guest Rick Research Posted May 1, 2009 Posted May 1, 2009 I have acquired a bunch of original artwork (often in quite fragile shape) that seems to have gone off for old fashioned illustration plate work either for the U.S. Army, or for a U.S. military publication called "Army."Does the name, style, and period ring any bells? Some of his other signatures are clearer. Ther is also quite a lot of work that is anonymous or only has initials. SMost of the art seems contemporary to the dates, but theer is also "period" art from the 1960s showing scenes from WW2 and WW1.It's all ink drawings like this on thin (thin!) paper, glued to backing sheets with work orders ("pick up Thursday PM" sort of things) or just loose.
Volvoking Posted March 4, 2023 Posted March 4, 2023 how much are they worth? I have 3 original of Gil Walker Army sketches
