It is THE WELCH CAP BADGE bi metal which is fake.

Ironic that along with the Buffs it's the most common of the lot.

You collect British cap badges or are they just a sideline?

I take it that you know all the basic info about these ones, the dates of sealing, the dtaes of wear etc as per Kipling & King, Gaylor etc?

Hi leigh K&K is a good book for identification but i dont rate it myself.Its too out of date for me and the pictures are garbage.

Hi i put them on to show and mainly to see if any one wants to compare theres with mine if they have the same badge.I do this because there are so many restrikes fakes and forgeries out there.
