milhistry Posted October 8, 2012 Share Posted October 8, 2012 The top badge is the 2nd pattern of this type. The first had a "Queen's Crown". Not sure when they were introduced, I think sometime in the 1960s. The bottom badge is. I think, post-UDI army Col/Brig used to replace the lion & crown.
