Additional orders , wounded ? , higher rank ??? Any informations are welcomeHere is a nice photo of him from 1914 directly before the war has started - note his red eagle with crown !!!
Guest Rick Research Posted June 24, 2009 Posted June 24, 2009 45 year old Wilhelm Gri?tede left a widow and those two boys without a father-- killed in action at Ypres 17 November 1914. Sekondelieutenat circa 1890Oberleutnant 22.07.00 U19uHauptmann 11.09.07 Q5q all in Inf Rgt 77.His name changed spelling from "Gristede" to "Gri?tede" between 1904 and 1905!
