Guest Rick Research Posted June 25, 2009 Posted June 25, 2009 But who is who? Nobody is wearing medals and I can't tell from the silly hats.... Actually, he was an EXTREMELY Silly Naval Engineering Person-- he is wearing his full parade formal dress "fore and aft" hat with service/duty shoulder boards rather than dress epaullettes and his medals (Crown 4th, XXV, 1897). Any Leutnant zur See who saw him would have reamed his... propellers. He reached that rank 13.10.08 and was in the described position in 1910. I have no naval Lists between then and 1914. he must have died-- no World War service for him.he had joined the navy 1 October 1885. Marine Oberingenieur 14.07.04.
HeikoGrusdat Posted June 25, 2009 Author Posted June 25, 2009 Always a pleasure to hear from you..... I think he is the right one because the guy on the left must be airforce with that hat... thanks for confirmation!!!
