Unfortunately all three medals in post number 4 are fake/fantasy medals that are being churned out in China for the unwary.

ALL of the medals with chunky block suspensions and shower curtain plastic red "ribbons" are new mass produced fakes. Cannot tell about the others since the scan quality is not good, but they have the same dull brown metal and incorrectly painted finishes commonly found on all these mass produced PRC fakes and fantasies.

I cannot understand what possible economic incentive there is for the mass production of rubbish. It has killed any interest in REAL PRC awards before there ever was any collector market in the West. I also cannot understand how anyone fraudulently making awards of the PRC is getting away with doing so AND exporting them by what has to be truckloads full. Even though most Civil War awards were issued at local provincial or Front levels, these were still official awards of the local authorities of the PRC and faking them should be considered the same as if money was being counterfeited.
