Guest Rick Research Posted July 12, 2009 Posted July 12, 2009 Thanks to Hardy for bringing this to my notice. Sale just ended on Hanoverian Waterloo Medal named to Soldat Christian Dreyer, Landwehr Bataillon Salzgitter. Item number 330342039772 sold in Germany by seller cartman333 for ?1205.85. Finkam (1901) said that this unit made a bold bayonet charge in the woods near Hougoumont. Gordon showed 622 men in the unit, but I couldn't find casualty numbers. Any other eBay sightings, please add here.
