Part of the Private Collection I received for my Birthday. All the items shown were carried by a retired Deputy Sheriff from Washington state.

1. Leg irons

2. Handcuffs

Ed - no one ever gave me a tear gas canister for my birthday !! Are the leg irons and handcuffs US patterns ? Surely - even in the US knuckle dusters must be illegal - they are classed as an offensive weapon in the UK and are an 'absolute' (one with no excuse) offense. Leigh, did you ever have anyone carrying one?

The leg irons are used by most US police agencies, including US Marshalls, Sheriffs, etc. Looking forward to reading Leigh's response.
