ARP / Civil Defence Fire GUard / SFP Armband

An armband I came across a few days ago during my never ending garage tidy up - what looks like the "usual" Fire Guard armband, yellow painted on black, but the Fire Guard is on a patch, tacked to the armband at its four corners, covering large red painted lettering "SFP" on a black painted rectangle - Street or Supplementary Fire Party.

Presumably in the event of bomb damage & fires the wearer ceased to be Fire Guarding & became a member of a Fire Party?

A bit of the "SFP" exposed
