DDD777 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Posthumous promotion to Oberstleutnant (notification transmittal to his wife). http://www.lexikon-der-wehrmacht.de/Gliederungen/Infanteriedivisionen/20ID.htm
DDD777 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 Numerous letters written to Zorn's wife (w/ English translations). All bear personal testimony of the high regard those who served under his command. One letter written by Zorn's adjutant tells the circumstances of his death in a Russian artillery barrage. Very compelling history reading in these letters. http://www.20pzgrendiv.eu/Feldpostnummern.htm
DDD777 Posted March 25, 2010 Author Posted March 25, 2010 ...and much material from his officer training.
