Hello, nice addition to your collection. Etui comes from Deschler however the cross itself was made by Jacob Leser. It's a 3rd (and last) type from this maker made from 1916.

It's gilt zinc. No maker mark.

Leser used to hallmark only MVOs not the MVKs. Material used for your cross was coppered bronze.

Zinc versions look much differently and were only made by Deschler (awarded in paperbox etui):

But...........where the gilding has worn, it looks grey (not bronze) underneath.
