Iraqi Kingdom Badge 1924

The date 1924 is a mystery - the Kingdom was established in 1921, but only recognised by the League of Nations in 1932. On 11 November 1920 it became a League of Nations mandate under British control with the name "State of Iraq".

The badge may commemorate the establishment of the mililatry forces of the Kingdom?
