Hello,

I've asked this question elsewhere but, if anyone here has more info than I have accumulated (which isn't much), I'd be pleased to hear from you.

Are these common? Were variations made throughout the war? I know there was a manufacturer called Fieldings, this example just has Made in England on the bottom. Can anyone tell me anything about it?

I must admit , I haven't seen this one before, but it loks typicall era. there are several types in the same style which are usually small German helmets used for ash trays....
