Organization of the "Bolt" Insignia

its official name was called the "Vanguards of People's Liberation War", it was a Palestinian organization that supported the Syrian Baath (as opposed to the Arab Liberation Front that support Iraqi Baath Party).

According to the resolutions of the 9th National Conference of the Baath party in Syria in 1966 and its call to embrace the People's Liberation War of Palestinians in conflict with the Israeli enemy, Vanguard was founded in 1967 war as an armed commando faction of the Palestinian organization loyal to the Baath Party in Syria.

The Insignia above is one I bought from a dealer out of Baghdad, Iraq a few days ago above is some of the research I found about the Insignia in the last few days. If you would like to add more please feel free to do so you only help us out on the GMIC who love Iraqi Militaria.

The Iraqi officer in the Image provided is the Commander of Delta Company of 2nd Bn. 4th Bde. Of the 8th Iraq Inf. Div. (the 507 patch on his sleeve is believed to derive from this unit originating from the 507 Bn. of the ICDC ca 2003-2004).
