Question about a South Africa 1853 Medal

I recently aquired a South Africa Medal to 3283 Pte. L. Hutchinson 74th (Highland) Regiment. It is all properly named and the man is on the rolls. My question concerns the brooch on which DUNO STATION is engraved. The question being what and where is Duno Station and how might it relate to the 74ths service in Africa?

Garth, Mervyn probably knows and will chime in soon. But I will be home tomorrow and will look it up in my 1853 Africa Medal Book that details the different regiments participation in the three wars to see where they took part.
