Iraqi Golden Badge for the Liberation of the City of Al FAW 1988

This Badge was awarded to the commanders who participated in the Battle to Liberate the City of Al FAW from the Iranians in the 1980’s. There are other versions of this badge that are solid gold also a sword was awarded in the Commanders Honor. This badge was found in Baghdad, Iraq and is now part of my private collection.

I am always looking for more information for my pieces so please feel free to post any that you have on this thread.

    Thank you

Hello everyone this badge is for the Liberation and reconstruction of Al FAO City which was in the southern area of Iraq, on the 25th of October 1989. The badge was manufactured by the official factory of orders and medals (on the17th of April from the General Company).

    Thank you
