Guest IMHF Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Iraqi Golden Badge for the Liberation of the City of Al FAW 1988 This Badge was awarded to the commanders who participated in the Battle to Liberate the City of Al FAW from the Iranians in the 1980’s. There are other versions of this badge that are solid gold also a sword was awarded in the Commanders Honor. This badge was found in Baghdad, Iraq and is now part of my private collection. I am always looking for more information for my pieces so please feel free to post any that you have on this thread. Thank you Lorenzo
