lilo Posted December 26, 2012 Posted December 26, 2012 Dear All, on Wikipedia (known to be Not so accurate) it is reported that : British Brigadier General Alexander Augustus Frederick William Alfred George Cambridge (1874-1957) -Viscount Trematon in the county of Cambridge and Earl of Athlone- was awarded with the Kingdom of Saxony, Order of the Rue Crown (German: Hausorden der Rautenkrone) see : - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_the_Rue_Crown - http://www.ehrenzeichen-orden.de/deutsche-staaten/hausorden-der-rautenkrone-ordenskreuz-vergl-oek.html My 2 Questions : 1. Can anyone confirm or not this award to him ? 2. In any case, if not possible to establish this award with precision, can you say me if it was probably awarded or is it more certain that He never received it ? Many Thanks for any answer youll try to help me Best Regard Lilo
lilo Posted January 2, 2013 Author Posted January 2, 2013 From a little re-search on the web, I discovered that only 332 awards of this Order were made in Total (till this became obsolete) so not a large search. Anyone that can help, please ?
