Military Aircraft Clock - Elgin Pioneer ( unmarked 8 day variant)

Here I have a Elgin aircraft clock in a custom made display case in a mantel shape.

its story is said to be from a lady who dated a pilot in the war

 

if anyone can tell me anything about this clock or which aircraft were fitted with them at the time I would love to hear from you.

sent this to a clock repairs specialist today for total over haul and servicing, cost 157£. 

 

to me its worth it, 

 

i dont know why i love it so much haha
