Medal "Konstantin Simonov"

Awarded to military and civilian personnel of the Information and Mass Communications Department of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation as well as of information support bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, with not less than five years of service (work) in the Mass Communications Department of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation or information support bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, for reasonable initiative, diligence and distinction in service; for impeccable and efficient civil service; for the conscientious performance of labor duties; for distinction displayed in the performance of official duties, while performing special assignments; for significant contributions to the development of information support bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation. The medal may also be awarded to other citizens of the Russian Federation and to foreign nationals for assistance in solving the tasks assigned to the Information and Mass Communications Department of the Defense Ministry of the Russian Federation or to information support bodies of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
