Djibouti : "Médaille du Bakchich / Bakchich Medal"

Dear Gentlemen,

 

The "Médaille du Bakchich", no official text, extremely rare, my favorite.

The author has never been able to determine whether this medal was awarded to the bakchicheur or to the bakchiché.

Note :

Do not look in a dictionary for the definition of these words "bakchicheur / bakchiché", the author has just invented them.
- bakchicheur : person who offers a bakchich
- bakchiché : person who receives a bakchich

 

The medal is made from a 5 francs coin of " Côtes Française des Somalis" "1959", the ribbon is black with a nicely sewn white stripe with a clasp "Bakchich".
