I am sorry that I can't assist with an answer to your question. I assume that you have been to JapanX's Medals of Asia pages for 7th Class Orders of the Eight Trigrams? He does not list any as fakes, so if you have not already done so, then it might be worthwhile having a look to compare the pictures posted with the one that you have posted above. Thank you. I've checked those examples before but to be honest the logic goes two ways now. So I guess there was no one and only template of that inscription on back and it can vary, but still on the other hand in my case the lettering is far smaller than on the examples shown by JapanX.

Is it possible to get any proof of the lettering similar to mine is genuine?

I've found a fake 8h class https://asiamedals.info/threads/fake-orders-of-the-eight-trigrams.25527/ and it does look similar to that mine 7th. So I guess we have an answer.
