This is the highest award for gallantry and as such will lead the order of preslcedence. Recipients will have the right to wear the ribbon of the award in their buttonhole. A 9ct gold medal. This award may be made to civilians and members of Security Forces and as the second highest award for gallantry will rank next to the Grand Cross of Valour in the order of precedence. archie777 Posted May 22 Author Share Posted May 22 Attached is an original certificate with stamp from The Livingstone Mint, regarding the manufacturing of the Rhodesian Honours and Awards and what happened to all the surplus awards after Independence in March 1980. I'm fortunate to have an original full size complete set as well as a miniature set in my collection. Pictures of the booklet received with my miniatures, will be added later.
