Funeral Sash

Hi Everyone, I wasn't sure what category this sash fell under but here goes,

 

Constructed from red rayon with a satin finish this funeral sash is unusually full length (they are often cut in half) with two separately applied white cotton discs and black printed swastikas.
Printed in silver Gothic script is Bauleitung der Luftwaffe Schwerin (Luftwaffe construction unit at the Schwerin airfield).
I presume this would have been used for a high ranking or important person.
Silver bullion fringes in excellent condition.
Full 8.5 feet in length!! (258cm x 20cm).
Rare piece and of the highest standard.
Colours are bright and vibrant.
I hope this is genuine as I've just bought it.
