OCSredleg Posted June 24 Posted June 24 ALCON, I picked this up the last time I was in Addis. Can’t read Amharic but I do recognize the “25” (obverse) and the “TPLF” (reverse). Just wondering if it’s like a 25 anniversary jubilee medal or some such. 1
jarodparker Posted July 1 Posted July 1 It's not Amharic. It's Tigrinya. Obverse top reads "ተወዲቡ ብፅንአት ዝተቐለሰ ይዕወት" which according to google translates to "Whoever is organized and fights hard wins". The bottom reads, "Tigray People's Liberation Front".
