Le Crabe Tambour Posted July 31 Posted July 31 (edited) Hello, I would like to check if a French commissioned officer received the Knight's Cross of the Military Order of Maria Theresa around 1800. This officer is the cavalry captain François Marie de LAMPINET de NAVESNE [or NAVENNE] (1750-1863), who was in service of Austria between 1797 and 1804. His file in the French Army’s archives mentions this rare decoration, but I have a doubt… Could you please help me ? Given the prestige of this Order, there must be a complete list of recipients, isn’it ? Thank you very much. Best regards, Laurent Edited July 31 by Le Crabe Tambour
