Michaelwave Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Just to show this little award. Awarded to rifleman. And his only award for the war! Nikolenko Kuz’ma Pavlovich During the battles at Hohenkrug (today Zdunowo near Szczecin) on the 8th of March 1945 under heavy enemy mortar and artillery fire he was the first to go into the attack and the first to burst into the enemy trenches. He noticed that a sniper was hitting us from the right site. He set up an ambush and annihilated 2 enemy snipers with his rifle. 1
