    Dear Gentlemen,

     

    The insignia of the Interarmy Special Weapons Test Centre (Centre Interarmées d'Essais d'Engins* Spéciaux  - C.I.E.E.S.), type I silver, located in Colomb-Béchar, from 1947 to 1967, Courtois Paris:

    *"engins" generic term for machines or tools having a defined function. In the military it may be a bomb, a missile, a war machine etc...
