No one Posted December 29, 2024 Posted December 29, 2024 Dear Gentlemen, Presentation of these two insignias of the Center of French Expansion "For the freedom of the world" (Centre d'Expansion Française "Pour la liberté du monde" 1939) : - the red one: - the blue one: There is a white one too. This badge is linked to the 1939 New Year's Eve party organized by the center, in collaboration with the France-Great Britain Association, and the approval of the British high command, in favor of British soldiers. The French Expansion Center promoted exports to the colonies and abroad, in the statutes of its association, had as objectives "the study, dissemination and realization of the most appropriate means to ensure the development of national wealth in order and progress, in particular by increasing France's commercial and tourist exchanges with its colonies and abroad". I couldn't find any information in English about this event. Yours sincerely, No one
