I do not want to sound insulting, but did you make sure to check the top of the know through which the ribbon ring passes? Hallmarks on these medals are often found there.

Thats okay, I understand. I did see a post about how hallmarks can be found in unusual places. I did check the ring, and the little part that it’s connected to, and couldn’t see anything.
