It's for veterans of the 'Iron Division', a Freikorps formation that fought in the Baltic in 1919.

It's hard to say, Peter, because the swastika wasn't only a Nazi emblem.

I'd guess about 1930..............10th anniversary of the division being wound up.

Just a guess, though.

That's fact about the svaz. not only being a nazi symbol

but the pictures shown above doesn't have any svaz. so...

Perhaps the veterans of the division had a connection to

the SA, SS or the Nsdap...many old members of the iron

division that had their sympaties in the new regime! A reason

for the svaz....but only a guess!
