I collect tr mainly but have some items my grandad gave me. from 1942 he was on 317 polish squadron as an armour on spitfires. He is english, he came to be in the squadron by chance. An officer asked 8 for volunteers at the end of his basic. He put his hand up and then was attached to the squadron. I was wondering if anyone has any information on the squadron. leigh kitchen Posted April 15, 2007 Share Posted April 15, 2007 Hi, post away, they sound like interesting photos - the only Polish RAF items I've got are a couple of Battle of Britain period combat reports from 303 Squadron & a photo of a bomber showing the crest of a Polish Squadron. I'm serious Polish air Force WWII collector .I have abut 2000 photos of polish air man in England during the WWII.
