    a large, unusual stippled type that may actually date from during the war. This duplicates the proportions of the full size device worn on the silver Liakat Medal's ribbon.

    The inscription on the bar simply reads the year of its creation, "1332" = 1915.

    Contrast this with the usual postwar German "flattened sabers" styles.
