This is a handmade, real silver ATTEMPT at the military suspension device for a Finnish Order of the Cross of Liberty. Even the ribbon is incorrect-- here it sits on that of the Turkish War Medal Star.

These are typical of period "close enough for government work" military effects dealers' Nobody Will Notice The Difference work for something they didn't have or couldn't get in stock. Quite typical of the haaphazard way "exotic" foreign awards were dealt with by German recipients.

The device is wrong. The ribbon is wrong. But looking at this, we know whaat was INTENDED.
