Looking rather pleased with himself at a unit parade early in the war, Major Druschki is wearing a sew on south German style ribbon bar which is already coming loose at the shoulder end.

Discharged after the First World War as an Oberleutnant aD from Hessian Infantry Regiment 118, he ereturned to army service as an (E) "retread" in the mid 1930s. When the Second World War started, he was on the staff of Kraftfahr Abteilung 9. His final rank was Oberstleutnant, in 1943.
