Despite the advanced Glider Proficiency badge, this officer appears to be in the Flak branch. Typical of ex-Austro-Hungarian military personnel in the Wehrmacht, he has waaaaaaaaaaaay "too many" ribboned awards since that was the old Hapsburg decorations system. See close up.
