RPR Order of Labour, 3rd Class

A couple of views of a Romanian RPR (pre-1965) Order of Labour, 3rd Class. This order embodies- at least for me- "Carpathian" design... the "strawberry" texture beneath the transparent enamels, the pre-medieval rendering of the sun rays, the jagged edges of the laurels and sickle... features reminiscent of a notable local legend.
