OK-- here we have an Alter K?mpfer who has risen to the dizzying height of wartime NSFK Sturmf?hrer (Nazi Flying Corps 2nd Lieutenant):

note that he is not wearing an NSDAP long service award which suggests that either

1) he had simply been a pre-30.01.33 dues paying member not a Party functionary or

2) that he joined some time up to 29.01.33 and this was taken before 1943.

The salient point is



that his "EK2 only" ribbon bar gives absolutely NO clue as to the uniform this is being worn on.
