Dave,
I'm with you on this one. These have been freely available for several years at under ?30. If you have a look at Nick Morigi's site you will find them still available today. (Nick isn't trying to pass them off as genuine, they are sold openly as copies)
)
Gordon have you on file an actual Steinhauer spange to compare the fake to?

Excellent info and great scans Gordon! What exactly did one have to do to be awarded these badges?.....was it number of missions only?
Also what are the current prices for both grades and types?
Cheers

Very nice Jim! I have never been able to pin a parade mounted EK2 down, they are always sold before I can get a look in.

Wow! How did you find that out?
Do you know where he came from? We have a Dave Bloor on the forum. Did he survive the war?
Tony
There was a fighter pilot called Bloor as well Tony mate,he flew in the Battle of Britain!
If these two men were really herioc and won tons of medals, then they are bound to be relatives of mine

"Bucket residence,Lady of the House speaking!"...of course "Bucket" is pronounced "Bouquet"...yeah Keeping up Appearences was great!
The chunky girl is Dawn French and the programme is called "The Vicar of Dibley",another great show.
The department store prog is an old one,it was called "Are you being served"......the staff's catchphrase was "I'm free"
Not sure which one you mean with the father and son, unless its "Only Fools and Horses"? Delboy and Rodney were brothers.
My missus loves CSI and Law and Order,I try not to watch ANY TV....unless its about the War of course
Jim's a Trekkie!! ,have you got an anorak mate?
The British programmes that you REALLY need to watch are the Blackadder series especially Blackadder goes Forth, fantastic mate!
Dave
Tony, tell Jim how good Blackadder is!

Thanks Dave.
Another stupid question. Is the difference in the various patterns the inscription only?? Are the obverses all identical??
Oh, and are these still reasonably priced??
Jim
Yeah the obverse is always the same on all 3 patterns and yes I think they are still reasonably priced, the gold can fetch a bit though.I personally like them with the award/issue number.
