    1. Aha, Thanks Rick !

This Leutnant Goesta Nils Arvid Bruzelius had in the rang list of 1923

      following awards:

Austria Military MeritCross 3 cl with war decoration and swords

Military merit medal in Silver w swords

Military Merit medal in Bronce w swords

      Mobilization Cross 1912/13

He was born July 24th 1885 and had no swedish awards in 1923, he must have had joined the Austrian Army and fought in WW1 . An interesting story :jumping:

I?ll see if I can find out some more of this fighter in a foreign Army.

He was at a Cavalry regiment nr 2 in the south of Sweden, died 1970.

Think if naughty Kurt could now what interest hes old ribbon bar caused about 70 years after :speechless1:

I kind of like the "against all rules" , putting hes 1912 EH3a on the bar.

Now I can go to bed ( it?s 23.00 in Sweden) and dreaming of...... yes Diana Rigg ! :cheeky:

All the best from Sweden, good night

      Christer

    5. Ohh well another bad seller out there !

It feels like 7 out of ten ribbon bars nowadays are fake ones, ten years ago it felt like the opposite.

It seems to go the same way as TR awards, a lot of fakes and very few real items.

Well not so much money and a new seller on my black list :banger:

There are a lot of sellers from Germany/Austria now selling fakes.

Anyway Happy Easter to all of you and Thanks God for Bulgaria! Not many fakes there (so far)

    7. :off topic:

Well its a little off topic but it is a bar with a EK II and a Vet org medal so not complete off maybe

But the thrill here is the 3rd and last medal on the bar a Bulgarian medal of merit, it looks like it is a Gold medal????

Theese are extemely rare and only about 67 have been awarded and only the people who before had the highest possible order

      from Royal Bulgaria.

And this soldier/officer?? With only a EK II no long service , no other high awards and a post war vet medal??

I thought it must wrong it could?t be a gold medal after all. So I didn?t bought it, now did I do the right thing or????

      sellers pics :

      Christer

    9.

      Great story George!

I love when there is a personal story behind the pics.

This ship has also a most tragic story but not so much on her own ....

Can you read the name on the bow?

Carpathia a Cunard Liner , here in New York in April 1912.... YES She was the ship which first arrived to the area where Tianic sunk and

ombord Carpathia the survivors at last reached New York.

But the story didn?t end there in 1918 Carpathia was torpedoed by U 55 and sunk in Atlantic , 5 people died, she only survived Titanic with 6 years.
