    1. Wow Paja, thank you very much. Those photos are proof that Soekarno and Tito were really close back then. Guerilla Star is rarely awarded to foreign leaders. Usually Soekarno gave Bintang RI Adipurna (RI Star 1st class) for foreign leaders One of the criteria of Guerilla star is that the recipient had been struggled in a war (as a guerilla) to gain or protect the independency of the country.
    2. Hi Paja, thank you very much for the information. It's now can be narrowed down to 4 people. There's also Order of St Sylvester Commander Class and Grand Cross of Spanish Isabella La Catolica with it. So most likely the recipient is General LB Moerdani is the owner. But of course I have to search more to make it sure. Attached is the picture of the Order of Yugoslav Star 2nd class that I mean.
    3. Hi gentlemen, Anyone know where I can find the list recipient Order of Yugoslav Star? Recently, a 2nd class of the order has been found in my country and I interested in researching the name of the recipient..
    4. I saw this on Facebook some days ago, very astonishing! Beautiful..
    5. Thank you Mervyn, the gemstone fever is happening in my country. I'm a victim of it.. I don't know if members here are also wear ring with gemstone (aside from the "sorry-i-am-not-single-anymore-ring"). She's one of my bestfriend, I met her in a violin community (I don't know if girlfriend is a right term, hehe). We do some crazy things together.. Let's see the result. I'm happy participating on the competition. It's an annual moment to show more personal things and taste of the members here. Oo Brian, I'm interested in your Dragon, how many do you have? I can pay 50 gold coins for a pair..
    6. Hi Gentlemen form around the world, Anyone collecting gemstones here? There are many varieties of gemstone like diamond, sapphire, ruby, emerald, amethyst, opal, garnet, topaz, etc. For example (from my collection): Bintang Republik Indonesia with Blue Sapphire Ring: In some culture, there's even some beliefs that stone can carry certain meaning and effect like health, good or bad luck, and fortune according to someone's birth month.

    14. This photo taken during my visit to Mandiri Bank Museum in North Jakarta, Mandiri is the largest bank in Indonesia, it was formed from 4 major national bank in 1999 and these 4 banks have long history since 19th century, I don't know why there's a grand piano in a banking museum, but it's a very nice decoration..!

    17. Thank you, that Bintang RI is either Admiral RE Martadinata or Police General Soekarno Djojonagoro. I don't know which because no documents came with the order. Both awarded on 17 August 1963. The medals are mostly unrelated, except the 2nd picture, which most likely a real group. I'll take their individual photos for you Megan. Can you PM me your email? So I can send a good resolution pictures for you.. Windu
    18. More than a year I'm not active in this forum due to workload (I was on Deloitte as an Auditor, often traveling to some region here), but it doesn't mean I stop collecting, I still get some nice orders and medals, buying and trading with friends. After celebrating 69th Indonesia Independence day (August 17th 2014), I took some photos: Note: the Grand Star and sash there, the Bintang RI Pratama (Bintang RI 4th class) is one of only two Bintang RI Pratama ever awarded. Cheers, Windu
    19. My thread after a moment of break. Good day everyone! Today I visit a friend who usually sale watch. but today, it seems that he has something different. A breast star.. At first, I notice it's a Chinese one, and with the paddy rice picture on enameled center, I think it's an Order of Golden Grain. But because I'm not familiar enough on Chinese orders, I can't determine it's a real on fake. Anyone can help me identified this? Here's the pictures: Note: the clasp is weirdly from 3 to 9 o' clock, it supposed from 12-6 isn't it? Best regards, Windu
