This iron meteorite is small, but it weigh about 448grams and haven't been splitted by man, it comes as it seen..

Well Emmanuel, James had a good point, however i spotted differences in the inscription, and that's make me confuse, see the pictures below:

See the inscription:

above: both are same: Pakubuwana

the center: indicates the class (1st picture: 3rd class, 2nd picture:4th class)

below: the mystery star stated: Sri-?-?-ya, and the other one stated clearly Sri Nugraha

My opinion: It's possibly the Sri Nugraha Star but the maker is not good enough in the inscription process (the maker probably not from local here)..

Hello Gentlemen, I was recently in a small tour in Indonesia. I went to Surakarta where there is a small antique market (the Tri Windu).It's very near the Mangkunegaran Palace.

I bought this Cross from the time of Pakubwono X. Usually this cross is found in dark light metal. This one had been gilded (I mean real gold gilded).

Usually these crosses like most of the Surakarta awards is found in 3 size, but the larger one : 36 millimeters is hard to get.

I will let our friend Windu explain much better than I could do what this award is,and translate.

For those who will travel till there, there is Orders & Medals on display in the Mangkunegaran,from Netherlands of course, but also from Annam,Cambodia,China,Laos,Thailand.

I think it's not a loyalty cross, but a kind commemoration cross.

The inscription says:

Observe:

Up: Karaton dalem Surakarta (:Surakarta Palace)

Center: PBX (:Pakoe Boewono X)

Below: 200 tahun (200years)

Reverse:

17 Mukaram Je 1670-1870 (200 years of Surakarta Palace, in Javanese year)

-that gold gilded loyalty cross from Kasunanan palace maybe for high class officer/priyayi/royal family. i don't have much information about this, there is also possibility that the recipient gilded it so it appears more "bling-bling"..

Emmanuel, can you post larger observe picture of the cross so i can read the inscription clearly?

-Some information regarding Angkatan 45 star: this star considered a commemoration of independence war 1945-1949, issued in late 90's, all living recipient of Bintang Gerilya can have this medal..

SISKS Pakubuwono XII also have this star as a supplement for his gerilya star..

You right, the museum is super and worth to visit, all gifts and souvenirs that given to Soeharto from around the world are in that museum..

From order&medal (some of them are really rare!), paintings, ivories, huge jade ship, paintings, clothes&accesories, and many more..

If you visit Jakarta, you MUST visit that place..

I have no clear idea about what it is, but i'm sure that this order comes from Puri Carangsari (Puri: Palace) in Bali island (well yeah, that paradise)..

It made from silver (and maybe some light gold plating), that's why I assume it's a high order or sign of high class royal family..

Also i assume it's post 1970 made because there is modern letter there (before 70's the 'U' written: 'OE', 'Y'='J', 'J'='DJ', 'C'='TJ', for example: 'Cokrosudirjo' written: 'Tjokrosoedirdjo')
