Finally it's arrived!!
but there's something strange, on the reverse of sash badge it stated ''PRAEMIUM MERITI'' while on the breast badge it stated "PRAEMIUN MERITI", how it can be different M and N?
i found a picture on eBay, in there the breast badge also stated PRAEMIUN too, so how's this happen? Does the badge with PRAEMIUN is a jeweller's made?
anyone can explain this phenomena?
Hello,
You have better shots, more evident with the details?

Hi Tim,
No, I'm just pointing this way, each one has its original box. I paid $ 100.00 in Vic. I found a great price, because they always come to $ 150.00 or more! .

The Portugese Victory Medal was created in June 1923 along the lines established in early 1919 and respected by allies that adopt the collective commemorative medal. A diploma is awarded the medal
The model is the work of Brazilian writer Jorge Soubre
There are two main productions
Type 1: the official form produced by the Mint of Rio that bear the marks of the hand (Casa da Moeda - Rio
Type 2: the model of private production (Facilities The Royal) identical but unmarked on the side
The originals have a patina of your "brown". However, we found more and more often this medal with very dark patina, is a variant of a known or a reissue? In addition, A. Laslo in his book shows a small ring soldered to the medal and through which passes the ribbon ring suspension.
It is nevertheless true that, with style Siamese "official" currency of the rarest of the series.
I'm posting photos of a small piece of treasure that is the Brazilian WWI Victory Medal. which unfortunately is not my collection.
This is a Mini. 15,48mm

Hello everyone.
I found this variation of the Commemorative Medal 14/18, very interesting. You know?
I think that is the Medical Corps or the Red Cross.

I believe that today there is a surplus of Japanese Victory Medal considerable. can still find reasonable prices. I'm a little confused, compared with other Japanese VMs have a lighter weight.

Hi Tim
I know little about this medal, I'm not sure if we can consider it as "Official." ??
and our research can say it later
I understand that. were made for the soldiers of the Philippine National Guard, was created by the Philippine Assembly in 1917 to serve under General John Pershing in Europe. He had 25,000 troops when it was absorbed into the national army. This unit, however, did not fight, it was only brought in federal service on Armistice Day and never leave the islands.

It's the letters on the ribbon... the A is clear... but not the others.
Could be AOC or AOG or AOE... seems to run from top to bottom and from side to side. I've tried doing searches for same but so far no luck. Will keep trying. But perhaps he can made it out. Again it may be the clue needed to ID this. Also, ask him if the ribbon is purple or blue. That too could make a difference.
Dan
Hi Dan. you're right, the letters are:
--A
AOC
--C
